Delta, BC – June 15, 2016 – Empower Environmental Solutions Ltd., an Asphalt Shingle Recycling company, announces that they have set up operations at 7046 Brown Street in the Tilbury Industrial Park located in Delta BC.
The site houses a 20,000 square feet warehouse with offices and yard works on 4.3 acres of land. Empower entered into a 5-year lease (with an option to renew for additional 5 years) and a first rights agreement to purchase in the event the property is to be listed for sale.
One of the important aspects of the facility is the central location which is located near both Highway 17 and Highway 99 making the plant easily accessible for roofing and bin companies throughout Metro Vancouver.
Chief Operating Officer, Terry Charles commented, “This site is ideal for us, it was previously used for recycling, has the appropriate zoning designation, ample space for our ongoing research activities and the capacity for expansion and additional staff as the Company’s business grows.”
Empower has a significant stockpile of asphalt shingle material ready for processing and some of the equipment needed to commence operations on site. Empower plans to expand with additional facilities over the next 5 years with some locations already identified under existing off-take agreements.
