Delta, BC – March 31, 2016 – Empower Environmental Solutions Ltd., an Asphalt Shingle Recycling company, announces completion of scale model trials of their Bitumen Extraction & Separation Technology (B.E.S.T.) which took place in Claresholm, Alberta from January thru March 2016.
For the test trials, Empower used specific shingle material which was the most difficult to process and fully challenged the entire recycling and separation process. These tests successfully confirmed that the engineering and design worked efficiently and performed to our specifications.
Empowers’ CEO, Gord Johnson stated “this was a team effort, we felt it was important to have our scientific experts, fabrication contractors and company management who were involved in the systems design, fabrication and operations at the Claresholm facility during the trials should any issues arise.”
With the successful scale model trials now completed, Empower is ready to complete fabrication of the full scale facility with plans to commence production later this year.
